The Walt Disney Company and the Orlando Magic are teaming up for a jersey deal that will land Disney’s brand on the NBA jerseys for the next three seasons.
This slam dunk deal makes the Magic the seventh NBA team to announce a jersey sponsorship. “Disney” will appear on the front left of the jersey and measure about 2½ by 2½ inches through the 2019-2020 season.
Orlando Magic CEO Alex Martins released a statement on the new deal:
“With Orlando as our hometown, magic has always been a key strand of our DNA, this expanded agreement with Disney brings our story full circle and represents the coming together of two dynamic organizations that have become synonymous with Orlando.”
As part of the multi-year agreement, Disney will now have a presence at the Amway Center by adding special seating and hospitality areas for Annual Passholder upgrades during select home games.
The Disney-branded jerseys will also be available for purchase at the Amway Center.
