Outspoken British comedian John Oliver is reportedly on board to voice the short-tempered feathered friend of Mufasa.
Oliver joins a Donald Glover (Simba), James Earl Jones (Mufasa), Seth Rogan (Pumba) and Billy Eichner (Timon).
Jon Favreau is directing the film, coming off of his majorly successful Jungle Book remake.
The Lion King is set for a July 19, 2019, release date.
