Disney’s Contemporary Resort is hosting three New Year’s Eve events to ring in 2018.
Disney’s Countdown to Midnight includes delightful dining, live music, libations and is catered to guests 18+. The party will feature an interactive band and DJ as well as a meet and greet opportunity with Mickey and Minnie. The party runs from 8:00pm-12:15am and concludes with a view of Magic Kingdom’s NYE fireworks.
Pixar Party: A New Year’s Eve Celebration is designed for children of all ages. The family-friendly celebration is a way to ring in the New Year with a Pixar-inspired dinner. Sarge, leader of the Green Army Men will welcome families to the Ballroom of the Americas that features decor from Pixar favorites. Dinner will be served buffet-style. Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Up will headline the event with backdrops and character meet and greets. This party will also have balloon artists, face painters and a Cars-themed DJ. Hours are from 8:00pm-12:15am.
Down in New Orleans: A Disney New Year’s Eve Dining Experience is all about soul food. This event is themed to Disney’s Princess and the Frog and features a vast array of Big Easy cuisine ranging from crayfish étouffée to Louisiana redfish. Towards the end of the night a singer, reminiscent of Tiana will take center stage and bring the songs created by Disney Composer Randy Newman to life. Hours are from 7:00pm-12:15am.
