In celebration of Tokyo Disneyland’s 20th anniversary their Halloween events, the park is organizing a special sporting event where costumed runners can have some fun.
The event will take place on Japan’s public holiday, October 9th, with tickets going on sale July 20th.
The run will allow guests to dress up as their favorite Disney character and run through the park before opening. The course will star at Cinderella Castle and go through themed lands such as Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Westernland and Adventureland on a 2km course.
Tokyo Disney’s press release suggests Disney “friends” (characters), will be along the sidelines to cheer runners on. The course will also be decorated for Halloween with pumpkins, ghosts and more.
