Dog’s best friend is now ready to join your family vacation to the most magical place on Earth!

Starting Sunday, October 15, Walt Disney World will welcome guests and their four-legged friends to stay at four on-property resorts: Disney’s Yacht Club, Disney Port Orleans – Riverside, Disney’s Art of Animation and the cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

This is all part of a new pilot program that can accommodate two dogs per room. In addition to having easy access to outdoor pet relief and exercise areas, Disney will be offering plenty of amenities for this new offering.

At check-in, Pluto’s Welcome Kit will give guests a mat, bowls, pet ID tag, courtesy plastic disposable bags, puppy pads and dog walking maps. There will also be a “do not disturb” hanger so guests can alert hotel staff that there is a dog inside.

Special merchandise will also be available at the four designated resorts.

This new offering is an up-charge for guests wishing to bring their canine companions:

  • Disney’s Art of Animation Resort $50/night
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort $50/night
  • Disney’s Yacht Club Resort $75/night
  • Cabins at Disney’s Ft. Wilderness Resort $50/night

Final note from Disney: Disney staying in a Disney resort guest room must be well-behaved, leashed in resort public areas, and properly vaccinated. To find out more about this new dog-friendly trial program, contact 407 W-DISNEY
