Construction is underway at Hong Kong Disneyland as Imagineers embark on a multi-year multi-expansion project.
The six-year plan will add various new elements to the park, including Frozen‘s “Arendelle,” Marvel and a Moana stage show. This systematic expansion and overhaul has a work flow in place to make sure new attractions are opening at the park virtually every year from now, until 2023.
The new Marvel-themed area (which just added The Ironman Experience) will also become home to a unique attraction featuring Ant-Man, The Wasp and S.H.I.E.L.D.
Perhaps the biggest renovation at the park will be the upscaled castle. While this construction project is ongoing, Imagineers will “build-up” on the current castle in place. The castle will have different sections dedicated to various princesses and Princess Aurora will no longer be the lone focal point.
