Marvel fans get a first look at Brie Larson in costume as Captain Marvel— but it might not be what they were expecting.
Carol Danvers… a.k.a Captain Marvel is known for her blue and red suit, but Larson was in something else while on set in Atlanta, Georgia.
While the suit stirred social media outrage, the door is still open for CGI effects. Directors and producers have not confirmed if they’ve changed Captain Marvel’s colors.

Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a retired Air Force Pilot gains special powers after an explosion fuses her DNA with an alien’s. Days before on-set pictures emerged, Larson posted this photo of her practicing flying before production started.
Captain Marvel is slated to hit theaters in March, 2019.
There are three Marvel movies scheduled before it debuts: Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp.
