Walt Disney Studios says Maleficent 2 has begun production and confirms that Michelle Pfeiffer has been added to the cast.
Ed Skrein and Harris Dickinson will also be two new actors to join the franchise.
Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning are reprising their roles as Maleficent and Princess Aurora respectively.
There is no timeline for when Maleficent 2 will hit theaters.
