Start your engines, because Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is speeding into Hollywood Studios in 2019.
Disney says the show will be a “first-of-its-kind” that will put fans right in the middle of the world of Cars.
The race will take place at Sunset Showplace, right near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Guests will come face-to-face with Lightning McQueen, who will be showcasing his rubber-burning skills to rookie racers. Throughout his career, Lightning has discovered things don’t always go according to plan, and he has to think fast to get back on course. With friends Tow Mater, Cruz Ramirez and the gang from Radiator Springs on his side, Lightning gears up for the challenge.
