Several New Shows, Character Meets & Experiences Coming to Walt Disney World in 2019

2019 is shaping up to be a big year at the house of mouse.

Several new experiences are set to debut at Walt Disney World, stepping up the atmosphere across all four parks.

Here’s what you can expect:

MAGIC KINGDOM

Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration will bring new music, dancing and other forms fun of to Magic Kingdom.

Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party will bring out the park’s biggest stars to dance in front of Cinderella Castle. Live singers will also belt out songs paying tribute to Mickey and Minnie.

The Dapper Dans and other entertainers on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park will sing songs in honor of Mickey and Minnie.

Mickey and Minnie-themed food and merchandise will flood Magic Kingdom during the celebration.

More limited-time entertainment and surprise offerings are expected throughout the year.

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

The Incredibles are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as Pixar Place will transform into a Municiberg city block.

At the end of the block, a party will be held in honor of Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible and Frozone to celebrate their Super deeds.

An Edna Mode meet and greet is also coming to Pixar Place, where she’ll be showcasing some of her best creations.

Also, look for clues to the whereabouts of the youngest Incredible, the mischievous and multi-powered Jack-Jack.

A Monster’s Inc. Mike and Sulley meet and greet will take over Walt Disney Presents as guests take a step into Monstropolis.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy rolls into Disney’s Hollywood Studios in spring 2019.

ANIMAL KINGDOM

A special dance party at Discovery Island will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Lion King featuring Rafiki and Timon.

There will also be three-dimensional photo opportunities re-creating scenes from Lion King.

EPCOT

The Disney on Broadway Series is expanding to seven days a week during the Festival of the Arts.

The Garden Rocks Concert Series expands, as well, to seven days a week during the Flower & Garden Festival, which means a total of 270 concerts over the course of the 90-day event.
