The street rat is coming back in a way never seen before.
Disney’s first trailer for the live-action Aladdin film gives fans a first look at Mena Massoud as the one and only street rat before he finds Genie (Will Smith).
The trailer features a phenomenally eerie score of the songs from the 1992 animated classic.
It also shows the iconic setting of the Cave of Wonders.

Also starring in this film are Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Will Smith as Genie– hopefully they will appear in a future trailer.
Aladdin is set to fly into theaters (on a magic carpet, of course) May 24, 2019.
