What Disney World is testing an automated Photopass system at select indoor character meet & greets.
The new process, which is expected to start rolling out around November 26, will allow guests to see their photos after meeting the character.
Automated cameras and Magic Band touchpoints will become a part of the experience.
You can see the camera installed in the wall of Adventurers Outpost at Animal Kingdom.
Locations expected to roll out this new technology over the next month, starting with “Meet Tinkerbell” at Town Square Theater include:
- Tinkerbell at Town Square Theater
- Meet Mickey at Town Square Theater
- Fairytale Hall
- Pete’s Silly Side Show
- Royal Sommerhus
- Red Carpet Dreams
- Star Wars Launch Bay
- Celebrity Spotlight
- Adventurers Outpost
Changes are expected to begin rolling out November 26.
