The future of EPCOT got brighter with new announcements at Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse.
In addition to a Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along and Ratatouille attraction news, we’re learning more about life after Illuminations.
The EPCOT staple is ending it’s 20-year run in December– and Parks, Experiences and Consumer Producer Chairman Bob Chapek says a short-term show will take over in 2019 until a permanent show debuts in 2020.
The interim show will feature classic EPCOT music.
The permanent show will be called “EPCOT Forever” and will feature music from Disney films, pyrotechnics, floating set pieces and lasers. EPCOT Forever is expected to debut in 2020.
