The health department is issuing an urgent warning to any workers or people who have eaten at Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs earlier this month.
Orange County’s Department of Health says they found Hepatitis A in a food service worker and there’s potential for the infection to spread.
Anyone who has consumed any menu items are the restaurant between November 6-November 16 could be exposed to Hep. A.
Only those with confirmed Hepatitis A need vaccination. Patrons should monitor for symptoms: sudden onset of abdominal discomfort, dark urine, fever, diarrhea, and yellow skin and eyes (jaundice).
Anyone experiencing these symptoms should seek medical attention promptly.
Concerned Morimoto patrons are encouraged to contact 877-404-3821.
