Lucasfilm isn’t going outside the Disney family to find its composer for The Mandalorian, coming to Disney+.

Ludwig Göransson will be working on the score for the Star Wars series; he previously worked on Marvel’s Black Panther.

The Swedish musician first made a name for himself on the NBC comedy Community, going on to collaborate with director Ryan Coogleron Fruitvale Station and Creed before handling score duties on Coogler’s Marvel movie Black Panther. He’s also worked closely with Donald Glover on every Childish Gambino record, including the 2018 hit “This Is America.”

The Mandalorian is due to premiere exclusively on Disney+, which launches in 2019.
