PHOTOS: Overnight Construction at EPCOT’s Lagoon; Likely for Fireworks Show

Thousands of runners were up early to race through EPCOT for the annual Walt Disney World 5K… and they got an up close view of some overnight construction.

We saw a construction crane in the middle of the lagoon, with active workers on the barge.

We assume crews are working on the lagoon’s infrastructure for either the interim fireworks show debuting later this year or for the permanent show coming in 2020.
