A Texas man says a gun went missing from his car while visiting Walt Disney World.
Marshall Fox reported his .45 caliber semi-automatic was missing to the Orange Counry Sheriff’s Office on Monday.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, this is the second time in two days a tourist reported a gun stolen during their Disney vacation.
Both cases are still open, the sheriff’s office said Friday. It’s worth noting that firearms, drugs and weapons of any kind are prohibited from Disney property.
Fox, 56, said he feared his $500 gun had been stolen from the locked glove compartment when he valet parked at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort in mid-June.
In the other reported case, the last time a 35-year-old Missouri man remembered seeing his gun was in the parking lot at the Magic Kingdom, he told the sheriff’s office June 30.
