“Toy Story 4” Crosses $1B Mark; Disney Becomes First Company with 5 $1B Films in Single Year

Toy Story 4 has crossed the $1B mark– becoming Disney’s fifth film to reach the feat in 2019.

Through August 14, the film has earned an estimated $1.0017 billion worldwide.

Toy Story 4 is Pixar’s fourth $1B films joining Incredibles 2, Finding Dory and Toy Story 3. The film is also the 8th biggest animated movie of all time.

Internationally, Toy Story 4 has earned $579.9 million with debuts still to come in Germany and across Scandinavia.

We mentioned Toy Story 4 is Walt Disney Studios’ fifth film to reach the $1B mark in 2019, the other four are: Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Aladdin & The Lion King.
