REPORT: Sony & Marvel Break Up Spider-Man Partnership

Spider-Man’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe May be limited.

A shocking end to an agreement between Sony and Marvel Studios developed on Tuesday.

The two companies have failed to reach a mutual agreement on the franchise and the decision will remove the version of Peter Parker played by Tom Holland from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is the most recent Spidey film and made more than $1B.

Following the news, Sony’s stock plummeted:

Neither Marvel or Sony have publicly commented on the new reports, first published by Deadline.
