Back in April, we learned Anna Kendrick would be starting in a new holiday film for Disney+ and new details at D23 revealed other castmastes.
Billy Eichner joined her onstage to unveil the first official and new details about Noelle, including the fact that Bill Hader is also a part of the film.
Here’s what Kendrick told fans during the Disney+ panel:
“I’ve always wanted to be in a Christmas movie. My family and I have movies that we watch every year. We watch The Muppet Christmas Carol—we know all the words—and the idea that I have the opportunity to be in a movie that could be something that families watch together this Christmas, and it becomes part of their tradition and they have favorite scenes and they can’t wait to put it on is just so amazing and I was so happy to have the opportunity.”
In the upcoming holiday comedy, Kris Kringle’s daughter is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun, but wishes she could do something “important” like her beloved brother Nick, who will take over from their father this Christmas. When Nick is about to crumble like a gingerbread cookie from all the pressure, Noelle suggests he take a break and get away… but when he doesn’t return, Noelle must find her brother and bring him back in time to save Christmas.
Here’s the trailer:
Noelle launches on Disney+ November 12th.
