D23 Hosting Special “Frozen 2” Event to Benefit ‘Women in Animation’

D23 is hosting a special event which will benefit the non-profit organization “Women in Animation” and provide guests special gifts and an early screening of Frozen 27.

D23 Gold and Gold Family Members are eligible to sign up for the. November 18th event that will feature a screening and post-movie panel.

Event details from D23:

The evening begins as you walk under the magical sorcerer’s hat of Walt Disney Animation Studios, where beloved animated films (including Bolt, The Princess and the Frog, Ralph Breaks the Internet, and Big Hero 6) were created. Take a tour through the recently renovated Animation building, guided by Disney Animation artists, and enjoy an elegant dining experience in the atrium space known internally as the “Caffeine Patch,” surrounded by concept art from Frozen 2 while you mingle with Disney Animation artists and employees.

This special evening will include a silent auction where guests will have the opportunity to bid on original pieces of art by a Disney artist, all benefiting the efforts of Women in Animation. After dinner, take a stroll through The Walt Disney Studios and past the historic soundstages used for filming such Disney live-action movie classics as 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Mary Poppins, and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl.

Then join fellow Disney fans in the Studio Theatre at The Walt Disney Studios for an advance screening of Disney’s Frozen 2 followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers.

Guests will also receive a special gift to commemorate this exclusive evening.

The event costs $350.00 per person (plus $7 processing fee).

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 10 a.m. PT on the D23 website.

It will begin at 5 p.m. at Walt Disney Animation Studios and will last until approximately 9:30 p.m.

Check-in will begin at 4:30 p.m.
