Disneyland to Use Virtual Queue System for “Rise of the Resistance” Attraction

Disneyland is looking to control crowds when one of the most highly-anticipated attractions ever opens next month.

The park will use a virtual queuing system for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens to the public on January 17, 2020.

Hollywood Studios used a similar process when the attraction opened at Walt Disney World December 5, 2019.

Disneyland visitors will need to log into the Disneyland app to secure a Rise of the Resistance boarding pass in the virtual queue. Push notifications will be sent to Disneyland visitors when it’s time for their boarding group to ride Rise of the Resistance.
