A scare at the Seven Seas Lagoon on December 30th as Orange County Sheriff’s Office investigators say a 56-year-old woman jumped from a Walt Disney World Ferryboat.
They say it was a suicide attempt.
Authorities say the woman intentionally jumped into the lagoon at around 7 p.m. A rescue unit found her and transported her to a local hospital, where she is being treated and will receive a mental evaluation.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, officials from Disney’s Reedy Creek Improvement District initially responded to the incident and called in the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
