Just hours after health officials confirmed a third case of the coronavirus in the U.S., they’ve bumped that number to five.
The third case was in Orange County, California and now we’re learning the fifth case is in Los Angeles County.
The five patients across the country — all people who’d traveled recently to Wuhan, China — are in isolation at hospitals.
Disneyland has not publicly announced any action to combat the virus. However, two parks in China, where the virus originated, have closed their gates.
Shanghai Disney Resort and Hong Kong Disneyland have closed indefinitely as the Chinese government tries to get a grip on the outbreak.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is one of five U.S. airports accepting flights from Wuhan, China and has additional screenings in place to help detect the virus.
