Two patients along the I-4 corridor have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to state officials.
The novel virus has already shut down Disney Parks across Asia and now the first Florida cases have been confirmed about 90 minutes away from Walt Disney World.
Governor Ron DeSantis has declared a public health emergency in Florida.
The Florida Department of Health on Sunday said one of the cases is a person from Manatee County, while the other is from Hillsborough.
Governor DeSantis will be holding two press conference on Monday.
Disney has not publicly released any plans in place to deal with the virus.
