Hours after Governor Gavin Newsom exempted Disneyland from its announcement about closing public events due to the coronavirus, Disneyland announces their closure.
Disneyland and Disney Californian Adventure Park will close Saturday through the end of the month. Hotels will close Monday, March 16th.
Guests who had trips booked are eligible for refunds by calling 714-520-5050.
Cast members will continue to receive pay during the closure.
Disneyland joins the list of Shanghai Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Resort to close in wake of the virus.
