Florida Lawmaker Seeks Help for DCP Participants Following Program Suspension

Walt Disney World College Program Participants had their lives flipped upside down over the weekend when they were told they have to move out of Disney housing.

News of the suspension of the Disney College Program for the Spring 2020 semester quickly circulated– seemingly leaving teens and young adults with nowhere to go.

All students must pack their bags and be moved out by 11 a.m. on March 18th.

Fears over the coronavirus outbreak led to the decision.

Florida Representative Anna Eskamani is asking for anyone who’s effected by Disney’s decision to contact her office.

Rep. Eskamani’s office can be reached at anna.eskamani@myfloridahouse.gov.

Frontier Airlines is also helping college students, not DCP participants specifically, with a “students fly free” promotion.
