Coronavirus: Walt Disney World to Close Disney Springs & Hotels

Walt Disney World is taking further action to protect the public during the coronavirus outbreak.

Following new guidance from the CDC, which recommended eliminating gatherings of 5-+ people for 8 weeks, Walt Disney World will be suspending operations at Disney Springs on March 17 and at hotels March 20.

Some non-Disney owned stores will continue to be open at Disney Springs.

Disney’s Vero Beach, which isn’t on Walt Disney World property will also close March 20.

This news comes as all Disney Parks around the world close due to fears over the coronavirus outbreak.
