The coronavirus is having a major impact on the box office— with social distancing guidelines forcing Disney to reassess their lineup.
The live-action “Mulan” was set to hit theaters March 20, 2020 and has been given a new release date of July 24, 2020.
Director Niki Caro made the announcement on social media:
Caro says the words “loyal, brave and true” have never meant more to her and she can’t wait to share the story of “Mulan” with everyone once it’s safe to do so.
Other movie releases adjusted by Disney include “Artemis Fowl” and “Black Widow”.
