Tokyo Disney Resort Closures Extend Through May; Reopening Timeline Unknown

Tokyo Disney Resort was expected to unveil a post-coronavirus reopening plan un mid-May, but that won’t be happening.

The resort is now extending its closure to coincide with the government’s recommendations and will not reopen until the country’s emergency declaration is lifted, which now runs through at least May 31st.

Tokyo Disney Resort made the announcement on Twitter:

When Tokyo Disney Resort opens, the park will announce a timeline for the grand opening of the New Fantasyland expansion, which has been under construction for years.
