Walt Disney World has cleared its final hurdle to reopen this summer.
Senior VP of Operations Jim MacPhee presented the reopening plans to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force on Wednesday.
Today, Florida Department of Business and Regulation Secretary Halsey Beshear announced the state has approved the plan.
They sent this letter to newly-promoted Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle:
Walt Disney World will be enacting a phased reopening plan.
DVC resorts will open June 22, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will open July 11th and Epcot & Hollywood Studios will reopen July 15th.
Increased safety, health and sanitation measures will be in place upon reopening.
