Hong Kong Disneyland Prepares to Reopen June 18

Hong Kong Disneyland has announced it will be reopening following the coronavirus crisis on June 18th.

Much like plans at Shanghai Disney Resort and U.S. Disney parks, there will be new and enhanced health and safety measures following the guidance of local government and health care officials.

During this initial reopening phase, the park will open with limited attendance.

The park will implement social distancing requirements in queues, restaurants, attraction vehicles and at other facilities throughout the park, and will increase the frequency of sanitization and disinfection in high-guest contact areas.

Tables will be labeled for guests to sit at appropriately, allowing for physical distancing.

Attraction queue lines will have markers for guests to stand on, creating distance between groups.

Character meet and greets will be suspended, but Mickey and friends will provide magic in new ways.

Here’s the full instructional video from Hong Kong Disneyland.

As Hong Kong becomes the second Disney park to reopen, the rest of the Disney Parks family around the world continues to believe in magic and prepare for their own reopening moments.
