It’s a no-brainer that guests won’t be able to run up and hug Mickey Mouse when Walt Disney World reopens its gates in July… and now, Disney is giving us a look at what some of the interim entertainment offerings will consist of during the coronavirus pandemic.
Here’s what will be temporarily suspended:
- Parades and nighttime spectaculars
- Character Greetings
Disney says there will be ways to keep the characters in the park to entertain guests.
From special cavalcades down the Magic Kingdom park parade route and friends sailing the waterways of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park to processions along World Showcase promenade at EPCOT and motorcades on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, each area will come to life throughout the day. You never know when a party of your pals may come by, so be prepared for plenty of surprises!
Some experiences may be modified, limited in capacity and subject to availability or closure.
Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are set to reopen July 11th. Epcot and Hollywood Studios will reopen July 15th.
