As Walt Disney World reopens its theme parks during the coronavirus pandemic, many guest experiences are being altered in order to focus on the health & safety of cast members and guests.
The entertainment offered at the parks will be considerable different.
No fireworks, no castle stage shows & no parades.
However, Walt Disney World is amending some offerings. Rather than parades, the four main parks will host “cavalcades” where floats with characters will either slowly drive by or cruise down the river allowing for guests to enjoy the sample-sized offering without forming crowds.
One of the cavalcades at Magic Kingdom is the Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade, featuring Gaston (on a horse!), Pooh, Tigger, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Alice & Peter Pan/
The cavalcades and surprise offerings are not advertised in the park because Disney is trying to prevent crowds from forming.
