NBA Unveils Courts with Social Justice Messages at ESPN Wide World of Sports for League Restart

The NBA is taking on social injustices in the 2020 season, which will resume at Walt Disney World this month.

While the NBA was on a hiatus during the pandemic, the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis sparked outrage and calls for social justice across the nation, and now the NBA wants to send a positive message.

Earlier this month the league announced their plan to allow players to replace their names on the back of their jerseys with social justice messages.

Now, those messages have transferred to the courts at ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The NBA previewed what the playing area will look like for the season restart.

NBA teams will play multiple scrimmages this week.

The NBA season restarts July 30th.
