Just a week after reopening, Walt Disney World is modifying the virtual queue process for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Disney is cutting down the number of virtual queue registration window from 3 to 2.
Guests, who must be inside the park during time of registry, can now try for for a virtual queue spot either through the My Disney Experience app at 10am or 2pm starting July 24th.
Since the park reopened, there had been three time slots: 10am, 1pm and 4pm.
When we visited on July 15th, it seemed as if the afternoon registration never opened up. This experience could’ve been prompted by a multitude of factors: first day woes, ride malfunctions (we saw it down a number of times), and heavy crowds.
Disney reiterates that guests must be inside the park when trying to register for a virtual queue spot for the attraction.
