Disneyland is still not opened to the public, but measures are being put in place to make sure it’s safe when guests return to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Disneyland leaders have been working to ensure a safe reopening for when the government allows theme parks to continue operations in California.
Today on the Disneyland App, a new page launched showcasing a new theme park reservation system and ticket update.
Much like Walt Disney World’s current system, Disneyland will require all guests and Annual Passholders to reserve a spot before visiting the parks.
Disneyland is also suspending ticket sales for the time being. Walt Disney World did the same by freezing Annual Passholder transactions. This allows for existing ticket holders to get reservations before their tickets expire.
California leaders say they are working towards a plan to safely reopen theme parks, but no date or plan has been announced yet.
