The progress of TRON has been nothing short of amazing.
Just yesterday, we shared a video of crews actively working on the structure over the track.
Today, Imagineers have installed the first piece of the canopy that will cover the outdoor portion of the coaster.
According to Zach Riddley, Walt Disney World Site Portfolio Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering, this is one of nearly 40 pieces that will create a dramatic “curved wave” canopy, known as the Upload Conduit, which will flow organically over Guests as they race underneath on their Lightcycles.
TRON Lightcycle is slated to open in 2021.
