BREAKING: Pixar’s “Soul” to Debut on Disney+ December 25th

Disney dropping a bombshell when it comes to movie releases Thursday night.

The company says Pixar’s “Soul”, the first Pixar original film with a black lead, will debut exclusively on Disney+ on December 25th.

This comes after the theatrical release was moved multiple times during the coronavirus pandemic. The newest date for theaters was November.

This is Disney’s third major film skipping its theatrical release, following “Artemis Fowl” and “Mulan”.

“Mulan” was the first premium content added to the platform over the summer, costing fans $30.

There is no indication “Soul” will be labeled as premium content.
