Walt Disney Imagineering are giving fans a new look at what to expect when “The Princess and the Frog” takes over Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
New concept art shows Naveen and Tiana traveling through the bayou. You can even see Louis the alligator in the water next to the boat.
Imagineers also gave an update on the backstory of the attraction:
The new attraction’s story centers around Tiana’s first ever Mardi Gras performance—during which some original yet familiar music will bring guests into the story.
There’s currently no timeline for the closure of the current Splash Mountain, or when this new “The Princess and the Frog” attraction will open.
