The Disneyland Resort is set to add some new features for vacationers in 2022.
During Destination D23, it was announced that MagicBands will make their grand debut on the west coast in 2022. Disneyland will begin offering the new MagicBand+ upon the product’s launch.
MagicBand+ is updated technology that will recognize certain gestures by the guest wearing it, light up certain colors to coincide with specific shows at any given moment and more.
The MagicBand+ products will also be coming to Walt Disney World in 2022.
In addition to the MagicBand+ announcement, we’re also learning “Hey, Disney!”, which was recently announced for Walt Disney World will also come to Disneyland Resort in 2022.
“Hey, Disney!” is voice-assistant technology that will roll out to Amazon Echo devices in guests rooms across the hotels at Disneyland Resort.
