Destination D23 kicked off its presentation discussing the future of Disney Parks by focusing on what’s happening overseas.
Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Josh D’Amaro first focused on the international parks and highlighted the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris.
The park will celebrate 3 decades in 2022 with new character overlays and a new show on Central Plaza.
The Town Square gazebo will also be decked-out with 30th anniversary decorations.
In addition to anniversary-related events, D’Amaro also revealed a new look at the progress of Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Park. The expansion, which will feature an Iron Man-themed coaster, will open during the Summer of 2022.

During the presentation, Disney Parks also announced the beloved fireworks show “Disney Illuminations” and Disney Stars on Parade will return as part of the celebration.
