Daisy Duck is now meeting temporarily at the front of the Magic Kingdom (to the left of Tony’s Restaurant). The plan is to have Daisy meet in this location for two months to see if she draws a crowd and how the popularity of more characters fares in this area of the park. Later on in the day, guests still have the chance to meet Daisy at Pete’s Silly Side Show. Pictured above is a photograph taken around 10:00a.m. Monday morning– as you can see, there will be no stress in worrying about long lines.
There are two more changes to follow: Involving Chip n’ Dale and the Toy Story characters. Right now, the chipmunks meet at Rivers of America Crossing in Frontierland, while Woody and Jessie meet by the exit of Splash Mountain.
Starting May 8th, Chip n’ Dale will be meeting in Tomorrowland (in their Tomorrowland outfits previously worn in Experiment 626 Dance Party) and Woody & Jessie will meet across from the Diamond Horseshoe in Frontierland (Chip n’ Dale’s current location). No word on if this switcharoo will be permanent, but it’s great to see new things (Chipmunks’ overlays); keep it coming!
