Yes, a live-action Dumbo is really happening.

Now we know it’s more than just a far-fetched idea. Disney confirms a number of actors working on the project, as well as a released date.

The Tim Burton-directed film will feature Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Danny DeVito (who will play Medici, the ringmaster) and Michael Keaton. Meanwhile, newcomers Nico Park and Finley Hobbins will use this project to make their big screen debuts. Roshan Seth, DeObia Oparei, Sharon Rooney, and Douglas Reith will also star in the film.

Tim Burton sent in a video message to air during the D23 Expo 2017 which confirmed that production has officially begun on his reimagining of the high-flying elephant film.

The adaptation of the 1941 animated feature is set to fly into theaters March 29, 2019.
