As Hurricane Irma, a once Category 5 storm approaches the sunshine state, Walt Disney World is closing its gates on Sunday, September 10 and Monday, September 11.
All four theme parks are expected to reopen once the worst of the storm passes on Tuesday, September 12.
Prior to park closures on Sunday and Monday, Walt Disney World is also rescheduling/canceling selected performances and events for Saturday, September 9th.

Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular (September 9)
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth (September 9)
Happily Ever After (September 9)
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (September 11)
