German carmaker Audi is teaming up with The Walt Disney Company to bring something new to the roads in the near future.
The automaker is planning to roll out what they’re calling a “new type of media”
The two companies will reveal the technology they’ve created and their plans to bring it to market at the CES trade show in January.
According to CNET, it sounds like the new Audi-Disney media experience may take the form of some sort of interactive rear-seat multimedia experience, potentially involving augmented reality technology that involves not just what’s inside a vehicle’s cabin, but also the world outside, too.
It seems as if there will only be speculation until January, where the two companies will finally unveil the new tech.
