How Disneyland’s Reservation System Will Work for the Opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

In anticipation of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on May 31 at Disneyland Resort, guests will be able to start making reservations to visit the new land on May 2nd.

Here’s what you need to know:

Reservations Are Required from May 31–June 23, 2019: For those 24 days, you need to have a reservation to get into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. There will not be stand-by lines.

Reservations Are Available at No Cost: As long as you have entry to Disneyland Park, which isn’t included.

Guests Staying at Disneyland Resort Hotels Automatically Get a Reservation: If you and your family/friends are staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the Disneyland Hotel, and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, you are guaranteed to get into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during your stay.

Make Sure You Have a Disney Account: You will need to have a Disney account in order to make a reservation. You can set it up at Disneyland.com.

What Happens After June 23: Reservations will not be required to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Reservations will not be required to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World– which opens August 31, 2019.
