“Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom” Coming to Disney+ This Fall

The care and feeding of Walt Disney World’s animals is coming to Disney+.

“Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom”, put together by National Geographic, will focus on the wildlife mostly found at Disney’s second most popular theme park in Florida and Epcot.

“We’re so excited that soon, you’ll get a peek behind-the-scenes as the stories of these animal-care experts and the animals they care for come to life,” said Dr. Mark Penning, Disney’s vice president for animals, science and environment.

The new series will give viewers a look at the daily operation of the animal-care and veterinary facilities at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and The Seas with Nemo & Friends attraction at Epcot.

Film crews reportedly began work at the theme parks earlier this year and the documentary will debut on Disney+ thus fall.
