The adventure continues.
Disney is already reportedly working on a “Jungle Cruise” sequel, featuring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Emily Blunt, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original 2021 film, which had a pushed back release date due to the pandemic, crossed $100M at the box office.
Michael Green, who co-wrote the first film will also craft the second one.
The movie, which was in development for more than 15 years before finally making its way to the screen, is based on the popular Disneyland attraction, where it was one of the original rides when the theme park opened in 1955.
